Whilst winter hiking in the Loferer Almenwelt, you can recharge your batteries in the quiet of the natural landscape. And the best thing is: the winter hiking route leads directly past the mountain lodge. Snow shoe hikes will take you “off the beaten path”, guided hikes are offered by the Tourism Association. Those who wish to can go cross-country skiing on the high-altitude cross-country skiing trail Lofer, and those wishing to head for the peaks can already start looking forward to going on a skiing tour in Lofer on fantastic routes leading directly from the mountain lodge to the "Grubhörndl" or to the 1,565 metre-high "Schwarzeck".
