Winter hiking in the Almenwelt!

The Almenwelt Lofer doesn’t just delight in summer with fantastic possibilities for discovering the natural landscape on extended walks and hikes. Hiking is extremely popular also on a winter holiday in our mountain lodge, in the middle of the Almenwelt Lofer, for the simple reason that the well-prepared winter hiking route goes directly past our location. Not one but two paths are available for winter hikes in the Loferer Alm area: one round tour, approximately 1.5 km long, and another which is approximately 4 km long. Listen to the snow crunching under your winter boots, crystal-clear mountain air and explore many comfortable taverns, such as our traditional Kuhbar, which invite you along the way to rest and relax on the sun terraces, and tempt you to try delicacies from the Pinzgau region.
